Our robot club was created to provide area homeschoolers aged 9-14 with the opportunity to participate in team robotic building competitions through FIRST Lego League. Two club teams participated in our inaugural season in 2005 FIRST Lego League competitions. lego_robot50.gif Thanks to sponsorships from Numatics, Eaton, Flex Automation, Gates and others, the club has fielded eight FLL teams and eleven Robofest teams since our inception in 2005. We are again looking for additional sponsors to support new robot teams for the upcoming 2008/09 season.

Our club's goal is to learn, have fun, strive to do our best, and practice great sportmanship.

Note: We are currently raising funds to field additional teams for the 2008 FIRST Lego League season to make this unique educational opportunity available to more children. You can help support the financial needs of our robot building teams and save money at the same time by renewing or purchasing your magazine subscriptions online through our fundraising campaign. They do have good prices on a wide selection of magazines (over 650 titles!) and forty percent of your purchase goes to our club. I noticed a few of the magazines are priced a bit high, but many (most?) of the magazine prices cannot be beat. Take a look and please tell a friend! Thank-you, Doug
